The Faculty
Among many other teachers, we have been consistently blessed by the teaching ministry of the following long time friends and pastors:
Steven Kreloff is the Pastor/Teacher of Lakeside Community Chapel in Clearwater, Florida. The emphasis of his ministry is the expository teaching of the Word of God. Steve is a Jewish Christian who received Jesus as Messiah, Lord, and Savior, while a student at the University of South Florida. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and Tampa Bay Theological Seminary. He has been a contributing editor for the magazine “Israel My Glory,” and has written articles for this and other magazines including “Masterpiece.” He has also written two books: “God’s Plan For Israel, A Study of Romans 9-11,” and “Expository Preaching and Teaching” – published in Italian. Steve has a growing radio ministry program called Verse-By-Verse. He and his wife, Michele, have three children who love and serve Christ and many growing grandchildren!
Phil Johnson is Executive Director of “Grace to You,” a Christian tape and radio ministry featuring the preaching of Dr. John MacArthur. Phil is also editor of most of MacArthur’s publications. Phil is an elder at Grace Community Church in Panorama City, CA. Phil graduated with a degree in theology from Moody Bible Institute and was an editor for Moody Press before moving to Southern California in 1983. He also serves as a board member for Aurora Ministries. Two of his books have been published in Italian. The one is on the major heresies in church history and the second one on the book of Jonah.
Carey Hardy graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Pharmacy in 1977. In 1984 he sold his pharmacy to go on staff of a Baptist church in Texas as Christian School Principal and Minister of Music. Carey moved to California in 1990 to study at The Master’s Seminary and graduated from there with a Master of Divinity degree. From 1993 through 2006, he served on the pastoral staff at Grace Community Church in the Los Angeles area. Most recently, Carey was Senior Executive Pastor and Personal Assistant to John MacArthur. He also shepherded a Sunday morning fellowship group of young married and young families. In addition, his responsibilities included teaching in the annual Grace Church Shepherds’ Conference, as well as teaching on various issues related to expository preaching, theology, biblical counseling, marriage, and the Christian life at other churches and Bible Conferences around the world. Carey was also an adjunct professor at The Master’s College and The Master’s Seminary. In October of 2006, he became the Senior Pastor of Twin City Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Carey and his wife, Pam, married 31 plus years, have four children.
