Objectives

  • To teach various courses, outside the regular programs, that will enrich the student curriculum and will equip them to meet the needs of the church with emphasis on practical principles and application.
  • The courses/seminars are a one time class with one week of resident work where students complete various reading assignments and homework.

The Faculty

  • Professor Ken Fuller is vice president of The Master’s Academy International and also serves as vice chairman of the board. Ken is vice president of The Master’s Academy International. He serves as Executive Director of The Believers Foundation, which is dedicated to the training of pastors worldwide. Ken has worked with many churches and ministries to establish and provide support for training ministries in more than fifteen countries. Ken serves on the board of The Expositors Seminary and MEDA, which provides training for pastors in Central America. Ken and his wife Lissa have three boys.
  • Professor Johnny Gravino is the resident Director of the Italian Theological Academy and serves and preaches at the Comunita’ Cristiana Evangelica, in Acireale (Sicily). He received his Master of Divinity Degree (M.Div) from the Master’s Seminary, Sun Valley, CA, where he graduated Suma Cum Laude and from Mc. Gill University in Montreal, with a M.A. in Political Science.  After completing an intensive internship training at his sending church in Rome (Chiesa Berea with Pastor William Standridge) he moved to Sicily with his wife Alexandra, Austrian born, and his two children Samuele and Maddalena.
  • Professor Don Green was a litigation attorney in Chicago for several years before leaving his law practice to attend The Master’s Seminary, where he completed his M.Div. and Th.M. degrees with highest honors. As an ordained elder at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California, Don pastors GraceLife, a group of more than 600 adults. He has published several articles on biblical themes. He is also the Managing Director of Grace to You, where he oversees the daily operations of John MacArthur’s international media and radio ministry. Don and his wife, Nancy, have six children.
  • Professor Carey Hardy graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Pharmacy in 1977.  In 1984 he sold his pharmacy to go on staff of a Baptist church in Texas as Christian School Principal and Minister of Music. Carey moved to California in 1990 to study at The Master’s Seminary and graduated from there with a Master of Divinity degree.  From 1993 through 2006, he served on the pastoral staff at Grace Community Church in the Los Angeles area.  Most recently, Carey was Senior Executive Pastor and Personal Assistant to John MacArthur.  He also shepherded a Sunday morning fellowship group of young married and young families.  Carey was also an adjunct professor at The Master’s College and The Master’s Seminary.  In October of 2006, he became the Senior Pastor of Twin City Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  Carey and his wife, Pam, married 31 plus years, have four children.
  • Professor Larry McCall has served as Pastor for Preaching and Teaching at Christ Covenant Church in Winona Lake, IN since 1981. In addition to pastoring, he enjoys speaking at retreats and conferences across the United States and abroad as the Lord opens doors. He has written a number of articles and is the author of two books, Walking Like Jesus Did (translated in Italian) and Loving Your Wife as Christ Loved the Church. Pastor Larry received his BA in New Testament Greek and MDiv from Grace College and Theological Seminary. In 1993, he went on to complete his Doctor of Ministry at Trinity Evangelical Seminary in Illinois. When Pastor Larry gets time to relax, he enjoys spending time with his wife Gladine, reading books on notable people and events in history, or paddling around in his canoe or kayak.
