The Faculty
Professor Doug McMasters began his Christian ministry by working in the UK as a missionary. He was originally based in Exeter where he pastored a very small Baptist Church. After serving faithfully at Exeter, Doug was called to Blurton Baptist Church. It was during this time that Doug helped organize a Conference with Grace to You, Europe, where the speaker was to be Dr John MacArthur. Afterward Doug was invited to return to the United States to help at Grace to You. He enrolled at The Master’s Seminary to further his biblical and academic studies.
After many years, Doug began to feel the call of the UK on his heart – as this is actually the land of his birth. The McMasters Family found themselves packing up their belongings and heading back to England and to Trinity Road Chapel in Tooting, where Doug is now Senior Pastor. He is a gifted Bible teacher with a growing ministry and has taught, not only in the United States but also in the UK, Russia and India. He is Trustee of the D M Lloyd-Jones Recordings Trust. Doug is happily married to Royale, and together they have two sons, Matthew and Benjamin.
