“The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.” With these words from the prophet Isaiah, we are reminded that the preaching and teaching of the Word of God remain the cornerstone of utmost importance in a changing world.

We firmly believe in the absolute authority of the Word of God. Today more than ever there is an urgent need for a commitment to the expository preaching and teaching of God’s Word in the church.

It is through the faithful preaching of the Word of God with precision, power and authority that the Church of Christ is revitalized and strengthened, and that those who are still outside the Kingdom of God have the opportunity to hear the true message of salvation through Christ alone. This is what we firmly believe, and this is what we labor for at the Italian Theological Academy in Italy – a country ravaged by growing idolatry, secularism, unbelief and most of all hopelessness and disillusionment, despite its beauty and giftedness. Become passionate about our passion – to see a strong and growing Church in Italy, made up of mature believers, founded on the Word of God, strengthened through solid expository preaching. This is not an easy task in a country where idolatrous beliefs have so permeated every aspect of the culture that even the existing evangelical churches are impacted.

At our Italian Theological Academy, located in Sicily, we keep faithfully our commitment to “rightly divide the word of truth” in the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that by educating and preparing the Italian spiritual leaders we put them in a position to have an effective ministry, both with believers and with non-believers. Our beautiful training center offers personal training which is practical, effective and financially accessible to all because of the scholarships offered to those who otherwise would not be able to join.

The striking natural surroundings at the center create a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere so the students can focus on the purpose for which they have sacrificed to be there. They can undividedly participate in our courses that develop their preaching, their education, and their spiritual gifts in order to serve the Lord and their communities in a more faithful and effective way, because during that time their basic needs of lodging and meals are provided for them. Our teachers are committed men, first to the Word of God and to expository preaching, and second to bringing this teaching to Italy. Among the ones we can count as faithful professors are Phil Johnson, Steve Kreloff, Carey Hardy – to name just a few.
